Baseball Meeting

There will be a meeting for all RETURNING (on the team last school year) baseball players next Wednesday, October 5 at 2:20 in room 6-117. This meeting is for players who are interested in participating in fall workouts. Please be on time. If you cannot attend the meeting, please see Coach LePage in 6-117 for further information.  Go Wildcats!!

Trey Harris

Congratulations to 2016 Senior SS Trey Harris on signing with Andrew College to play baseball at the next level!! 

College Signees

Congratulations to Graham Parris and Alan Carter for signing their college scholarships in May at Duluth's Spring Signing Day.  Graham will be playing baseball at Toccoa Falls College and Alan will be playing at Columbus State University.  

All Gwinnett County Baseball Team

The baseball coaches in all of the Gwinnett County public and private schools recently gathered to vote on the All-County Teams.  The following players were named to the All-County team from Duluth:

Alan Carter, Pitching-First Team

Trey Harris, Offense-Second Team

Graham Parris, Offense-Honorable Mention

All three players had outstanding Senior seasons and were very deserving of the awards.  Congratulations Alan, Trey and Graham!!

     

Wildcats Defeat Collins Hill

Congratulations to the Varsity baseball team for finishing the 2016 season with a victory over Collins Hill (ranked 4th in Georgia Class 6A). The Wildcats won 6-5 behind a complete game performance by Alan Carter who finished the season with 78 strikeouts, breaking the previous school record held by Zack Erwin (2012). Alan had 8 strikeouts and gave up 2 earned runs to earn the win. At the plate, Duluth was lead by Edrian Diaz (3 for 4 with an RBI), Kyle Yancey (2B and 2 RBI), Eric Kim (2B and 2 RBI) and Trey Harris (2 for 4). 

Senior Night-4/15

Congratulations to Alan Carter, Edrian Diaz, Trey Harris, Eric Kim, Graham Parris, Chase Parker, and Kyle Yancey for their accomplishments as Duluth Baseball players. We wish them luck in the future.  

JV Wildcats

Congratulations to the Junior Varsity baseball team on finishing the season with a 12-4 record, the best record for a JV baseball team at Duluth in over 8 years.  Great job by all of the coaches and players and thank you to the fans for all of your support throughout the season!

9th Grade Team

Congratulations to the 9th Grade Wildcats on finishing their season with a winning record! This is the most successful 9th grade season we have had in several years and shows the great improvement of the Wildcat Baseball program as a whole. A big thanks goes out to the players and coaches for their hard work and dedication to the program.  

Alan Carter signs with Columbus State

Congratulations to Duluth Wildcat Senior Pitcher Alan Carter on signing to play college baseball at Columbus State University.  Alan has worked very hard and has been an important member of the Varsity Baseball team since his sophomore year at Duluth.  His hard work and determination has paid off with the opportunity to play baseball at the next level.  Please congratulate him when you see him.  To view the Gwinnett Daily Post article, click on the link below:
