Picture Day and Discount Card Blitz

Team and individual pictures will be taken on Saturday Feb. 13 at 10:00am.  Orders can be placed after proofs are sent out.  Please be dressed and ready to go before 10:00am.  After everyone has completed pictures, we will begin our annual Gameday Card Blitz Day.  All players are required to return all money and cards not sold before practice on Friday.  We will get into groups and take all remaining cards out into the community and sell as many as we can as a team for a few hours.  Lunch will be provided afterwards.  All players are expected to participate.  

First Games

We are a 6 days away from the beginning of the season for the Varsity and JV Wildcats. We are looking forward to a great season on all levels!

Gwinnett County Throwdown

On Thursday, Feb. 25 the Duluth Wildcats Varsity Baseball team will lead off the 2016 Georgia High School Throwdown at Coolray Field against Shiloh High School at 4:00pm. This is a special event which will feature 7 games involving 14 teams from Gwinnett County over 3 days from Feb. 25-27.  See below for the Gwinnett Daily Post article about the event.

Positive Athlete Georgia-Graham Parris

Positive Athlete Georgia is a movement by high-character professional athletes tied to Georgia professional and collegiate sports teams to celebrate young athletes who have overcome difficult circumstances, give back to their communities, or have an infectious attitude that positively affects those around them. Positive Athlete Georgia believes it is crucial to begin shaping the futures of young athletes for life skills beyond athletic competition, and to reward positivity in our communities. Senior baseball player, Graham Parris, was nominated for this award for his positive impact in the community, in school, and on the baseball field.  Please follow the links below for more information.  Graham also recently committed to play college baseball at Toccoa Falls College.  Please congratulate him for these accomplishments when you see him.

Alan Carter signs with Columbus State

Congratulations to Duluth Wildcat Senior Pitcher Alan Carter on signing to play college baseball at Columbus State University.  Alan has worked very hard and has been an important member of the Varsity Baseball team since his sophomore year at Duluth.  His hard work and determination has paid off with the opportunity to play baseball at the next level.  Please congratulate him when you see him.  To view the Gwinnett Daily Post article, click on the link below:

Zack Erwin Drafted

Congratulations to former Duluth Wildcat Zack Erwin on being drafted by the Chicago White Sox in the 4th round of the Major League Baseball First Year Player Draft. He was the 112th selection overall. After 3 stellar seasons as a starter at Clemson University, Zack has the opportunity to continue his career on the professional level.
