Three Duluth Alumni started their freshman baseball careers this month. LHP John Clark is at Georgia College and State University where the #23 ranked Bobcats have started the season 2-1. RHP Patrick Riley is at Tallahassee Community College where the Eagles have started the season 5-1. Patrick already has made 2 appearances, 2 innings pitched and has yet to give up an earned run. C Jacob Timmie is at Maryville College where the Scots will start their season this weekend. Good luck to all our alumni this season!!
IRON CAT: DAY 4

The 2012 Iron Cat came to an end on Day 4 with the Team Obstacle Course. Team Willemse and Team Dumas ended competition in a tie with Team Willemse winning the tiebreaker by having a lower Team Obstacle Course time. It was a great day of hard work to end the workout/conditioning period.

IRON CAT: DAY 3

Team Dumas has taken a small lead going into the final day of the 2012 Iron Cat Competition. Team Willemse is 2nd and can still win the title with a strong showing in the Obstacle Course. Team Matton had a strong finish in the Wildcat Run to knock Team Rich a distant 3rd.
The Iron Cat is a 4 day, 10 event, physical fitness test competition that ends the conditioning season. The events include: Bench Press, Squats, Pull Ups, Vertical Jump, Broad Jump, Pro Agility Workout, 300 Yard Sprint, Wildcat Run, Med Ball Throw, and an Obstacle Course.

The Iron Cat continued today with Day 2 competitions that included Med Ball Catapult Throw, Pro Agility Drill (5-10-5), and the 300 yard sprint. Team Dumas has taken a slim lead over Team Willemse with all teams close behind going into Day 3. Great effort today from everyone as we move toward the Wildcat Run!

Zack Erwin, Chris Rich and Edward Willemse signed their official Letter of Intents on Wed. Nov. 9 at 2:30 in the 600 building. Erwin signed with Clemson, Rich with Gordon Junior College and Willemse with North Georgia College and State University.
